10.24.10 “Breaking Free” with Mindy Audlin: Special Guests Azim Khamisa & Lincoln Crockett
Mindy’s Message:
Despite our best efforts, there are times when we sometimes feel “stuck” in unhealthy situations, in grief or suffering, or in downward spirals of negative thoughts or feelings. At these key moments in our life, how do we “break free” from the weight of our challenges and tragedies and rediscover peace, hope, and possibility? This week, we discuss the 3 essential elements that grant you safe passage through life’s shadowy valleys.

Lincoln Crockett‘s music was referred by Singer/songwriter Chris Kokesh as “A kick in the pants with a hug. Like ‘Hey, wake up’ and ‘I understand, we’re all in this together’.” Willy Nelson has joked that he has only really ever written two songs: falling into love and falling out of love. Crockett jokes only one: “It sucked, but I transcended it”.
As a musician Crockett is the real deal, a talented solo performer singing standout original songs on mandolin & guitar, all while playing leads, rhythms and chords all at the same time. He holds audiences’ attention with the expansiveness in his voice and his ability to move a mountain of music through his
instruments.
Crockett is also a trained and experienced energy healer with an active practice in Portland, Oregon where he offers both hands-on and distance healing. Crockett’s awareness of the energetic connections between performers and audiences has long influenced his performances.
