I just heard the news. Michael Jackson dies at 50. Farrah, too. Two amazing icons for my generation. Both live on as a testimony to the power of one person to make a difference.

Although I was never as ga-ga about Michael Jackson’s music as the teenage friends of my youth, there was one song that I have carried with me as a reminder of the power and the responsibility we all have to bring our gifts to the world.

I can think of no better tribute to Michael Jackson than to share the song that helped me wake up to my own potential for making a difference in this world. Thank you, Michael, for taking the stand:
