What if our JOY is our greatest triumph?

A lot of people assume that if a person is happy, it means their life is rockin’. They assume that anyone dealing with struggles and challenges could not possibly be joyful at the end of the day. What if it doesn’t have to be that way?

What if finding joy in the midst of hardship is the greatest spiritual triumph we can aspire to?

What if our happiness was not anchored to physical circumstances, but to a deeper connection with an infinite Presence?

What if sourcing joy from a higher place actually results in having more of the “stuff” that we enjoy in our lives?

“Joy is not in things; it is in us.” ~Richard Wagner

Someone asked me this week what my favorite spiritual song is. This week’s UPdate is inspired by Rickie Byars Beckwith’s version of “Blessed Always.” Hope you are as uplifted by it as I always am.

Have a “blessed” week!
