What if we give thanks for the work we are called to do?
It’s Labor Day in the United States… a day to celebrate the economic and social contributions of workers.
What if we choose to use this day, as workers, to celebrate the blessing of the work itself?
What if we take time today to give thanks for the skills, the passion, and the drive that causes us to dedicate our time and energy to our chosen profession?
What if today is the day to recognize how our work connects us to each other, how our lives are a blessing to each other, and how fortunate we are to have talents to share?
“To be successful, the first thing to do is fall in love with your work.”— Sister Mary Lauretta
