What if you let go?

My inspiration this week comes from a windy autumn afternoon basking in a flurry of orange and yellow and red.  As the seasons change, nature’s eloquent message fills the air:  it’s time to let go.

What if you prepared for this week of Thanksgiving by letting go of the urge to control your holiday experience?

What if you let go of any baggage, resentment or judgement toward the people you love the most? What if you let go of your expectations for the holidays and simply open your heart to the blessing of the moment?

What if letting go allows you to discover even more to be grateful for?

“Gratitude helps us stop trying to control outcomes. It is the key that unlocks positive energy in our life. It is the alchemy that turns problems into blessings, and the unexpected into gifts.”- From The Language of Letting Go by Melody Beattie

This week, of course, in the United States, we take a break from our busy lives to pause and give thanks for the blessings in our lives.  Wherever you may be, wherever you may go, know that I am grateful for your presence in our community.   Wishing you a blessed Thanksgiving!
